Hi, my name is Adrienne and this is my dog, Apollo.  

When the kids are at school and the husband’s at work, the two of us spend time up in my “she-shack” creating home decor from scrap wood, updating thrifted finds, or sewing up some soft home accessories from the fabric I have accumulated over the years. 

As fads and seasons come and go, people leave behind their faded decorations for new ones, trekking to the big box stores in search of the next spring wreath or a fresh, rustic accent of candlesticks for their mantel.

Many of these replaced items go to the curb or sit on shelves at the thrift shop, with their dulled, scratched facades, waiting to go to a new home, but most likely head to a landfill.  I see their curves and textures of what was and what could be again.  So they come home with me, like a lost puppy – they get “bathed and groomed” – and are put up on this website to be adopted.
